Anyone can learn currency trading yet 95% of traders lose - Why?
Anyone can learn currency trading its easy but traders make two fatal errors.

1. They learn The Wrong Information

When I talk to traders I am bemused at what they think it takes to be successful and they learn information that is guaranteed to make them lose. For example - they want to try day trading, think you can predict currency prices or that buy low sell high is a great strategy and of course they lose. These are just 3 examples but there are many more.

Forex trading is all about learning the right information and avoiding the myths.

Most traders think they can take short cuts and believe making money is easy, in forex trading but of course its not and you wouldn't expect it to be, with the rewards on offer. The good news is its not hard either, if you know how to get the right forex education and apply it.

2. They Think Working Hard Will Help.

Other traders I speak to think that the more information they have the better and the more complicated their forex trading strategy is the better it will work

Wrong again.

You don't get paid for effort in forex trading you only get paid for being right with your trading signal.

Furthermore, complicated systems do not work as well as simple ones as they have too many elements to break - all the best currency trading systems are simple.

Let me give you an example about working smart rather than hard and achieving forex trading success.

In 1983 trading legend Richard Dennis conducted an experiment that set out to prove anyone could learn currency trading. He took a group of people of all ages, both sexes and of varying levels of education and taught them to trade in 14 days.

None of them had ever traded but after 14 days, they went on to trade, made Dennis $100 million and many became trading legends.

In two weeks they learned all they needed to know which leads me onto the next point

3. Discipline is the hard part

Trading is as much about mindset as it is about method.

Dennis focused on teaching them a method but he also made it simple and easy to understand which ensured they could trade with discipline.

If you don't have the discipline to follow your method through the bad periods - then you have no method.

Discipline comes from inner confidence which comes from understanding and these three key areas are the ones all successful traders have.

Learning forex trading is easy, if you focus on getting the right forex education - if you do that you then need to conquer your emotions to trade with discipline and win.

The equation for success is really

The right Knowledge = Simple Robust Trading System + Applied with Discipline = Forex trading Success.

Acquiring discipline is not easy - this is the hard part of achieving currency trading success.

We will look at this key area in more detail in part 2 of this article.

PROFESSIONAL FOREX TRADING COURSE
and FREE ESSENTIAL TRADER PDFS

For free 2 x trading Pdf's with 90 of pages of essential info and an exclusive Currency Trading Course visit our website at:
http://www.learncurrencytradingonline.com/index.html

Article Source: http://www.free-articles-zone.com

Meat and Potatoes for Your Affiliate Diet
[By: Beka Ruse]

Think of banner ads as the spice in your affiliate diet. Sprinkle them around, but for a heartier helping of sales, you'll need something more solid! Learn to give your visitors longer, more descriptive pre-sales text. Revamp your affiliate advertising using these simple steps:

* Pull the Reader in
* Introduce the Product
* Explain the Product's Significance
* Tell the Reader to Make a Purchase

Pull the Reader in
To convince your audience that your text is worth reading, make your first sentence or two very interesting. Make a bold statement, say something seemingly ridiculous, or appeal to your prospect's emotional side. Then, tie this grabber in with the rest of your copy.

Introduce the Product
What is the product you're advertising? What does it do? Directly after your grabber, give a compact explanation of your product. Keep this explanation short, while still being very clear. This should still be a very short section of your text.

Explain the Product's Significance
What will it do for me?

By writing your own copy, you can directly target your unique audience. Make the most of this opportunity! Clearly explain how your readers will benefit from this product.

No one knows your audience like you do. Suggest a variety of product uses just for them, and give examples. This is the time for details - make this section long and rich.

Tell the Reader to Make a Purchase
You've come so far - you've laid out exactly what the product is and how it will help your unique audience. Now, seal the deal - tell your readers to purchase the product! Include your affiliate link in this section.

This step may sound strange, but it's necessary. Often, people hear about a product and are genuinely interested, but fail to actually make a purchase. A clear call to a simple action cuts down on buyer ambivalence. Don't be pushy - just change your verb tenses to the imperative. Instead of:

"If you think that you fit this profile, you might want to think about buying this product."

Say: "Click here to order an account today."

Drive Sales - Use Long Copy
If you don't feel ready to write long copy yourself, ask your affiliate program manager for help! Many companies release well-written articles by respected authors that you can reprint free of charge.

The novelty of the Web is wearing off. People online now are busy. Surfers won't make a purchase unless you make a great case for what they'll get out of it. And you're not going to do that with just a banner ad.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   http://www.aweber.com/?217645
Putting The "Service" Back In "Customer Service"
Putting The "Service" Back In "Customer Service"
By Sean Cohen
The future of customer service is here. Technology has made seeking out support faster and easier than ever. But, has your digital age company sacrificed true service in the name of automation?
Today, finding customer support is as simple as writing an e-mail or picking up the phone. But, even though you're not face-to-face with your customers, you still leave a lasting impression. Do you come across as caring and competent, or menacing and mechanical?
Offering stand-out service on the Internet isn't as hard as it is rare. Take these simple steps towards old-style service in the digital age:
Give Each Customer a Personal Response
Be Clear, But Sincere
Offer Live Customer Support
Make Sure Your Support Reps Have All the Answers
Give Each Customer a Personal Response
When a customer sits down to e-mail your company, it's because he needs help. He chooses e-mail because it's quick, but his request still warrants a satisfying and personal response!
Companies eager to save time and money often take automation too far in their customer support. Each customer has a unique question, and deserves a unique answer. Even if you save time by copying and pasting stock replies, change the opening and closing to make the message sound less robotic.
Be Clear, But Sincere
When responding to customers' e-mail, be sincere and to the point. Before sending a message, try turning the tables. Ask yourself, "Would this answer satisfy me if I were the customer?"
Take that extra moment to give your customer the help he deserves. It might mean the difference between a satisfied customer and a credit card chargeback!
Offer Live Customer Support
E-mail has become an acceptable form of communication. But, live customer support is still necessary. The plethora of information available online can be overwhelming to customers, especially those new to the Internet!
Single your company out from the crowd by providing customers with a real person to talk to. Live phone support is an invaluable way to foster trust. When your customer has reached the end of his Internet rope, and just needs help, your toll free number is the answer he's looking for.
Make Sure Your Support Reps Have All The Answers
The presence of phone support will do no good if your staff doesn't know your product! Customer support reps should be warm and friendly, and willing to help with any aspect of your product.
What a good feeling it is to talk to someone who feels confident in his product. It's even better if he's knowledgeable enough to solve your problem without transferring you all around the company!
Provide Stand-Out Service; Gain Lifelong Customers
Too many e-businesses skimp on customer service, hiding behind web sites and message boards. Customer support is an integral part of every company, even those operating solely online. Be one of the few to offer stellar service, and gain customers for life!
""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
http://www.aweber.com/?217645
Don't Get Caught With Google Adsense Click Fraud
Don't Get Caught With Google Adsense Click Fraud
Many web site owners are getting their Google Adsense account terminated when they have done nothing wrong to deserve the punishment. Considering the money that they are getting from Adsense, they would certainly want to get back into it.
Considering the money to be made with Adsense, it is no wonder that they would want to get back into it.
It is that same consideration why the Google Adsense click fraud is thought of and why many people are getting into it.
Click fraud is the act of clicking on ads for the purpose of costing the advertiser money. It is simply the same as paying out cash for false leads. Many people website owners are aware of this fraud and are sharing the same sentiment that this is the one big problem that Adsense is facing.
How do you prevent being involved in this fraud?
Majority of web hosts are offering access logs. Once this is offered to you, it is necessary that you hand it over to Google as well. This allows them to look for any suspicious activity on your site. Problems like this are very serious and giving it to them is saying that you would want to help them in any way you can in solving the problem.
It can also help if you have a click monitoring software. If you do not have one yet, you should try and get one. There is absolutely no major factor preventing you from having one because most of this software is free.
As usual, all the information you have received should be turned over to Google. This is showing Google that you too are fighting against click frauds and is in no way a part of it.
Study your server logs and watch for any activity that seems suspicious. Report anything that you may find odd, may it big or small thing.
You may want to consider disabling ads for your own IP address and local geographic area. This will certainly prevent accidents and will not make Google mistake another user as you. You can do through a htaccess file. This will avoid Google mistaking as clicking on your own ads and be kicked out because of it.
Keep your Adsense off on pop ups and pop unders. Your ads should not be displayed on content sites that promote illegal activity or tampering of the legal rights of other people or business. Included in this are the content that is considered adult and gambling ones. If you think that you may be breaking this rule, immediately remove your content or Adsense from the web page.
Be truthful and confess up to Google about times when you might have clicked on your own as, whether accidentally or intentionally. Or the times when you have done something that is against the Terms of Service that they are implementing. Be honest about anything that you may have done that is wrong. Confessing is way better than Google learning about it eventually. It would mean eventual termination and no getting back what you have worked so hard for.
Do not tell your family or friends about Adsense on your website. Chances are they may start clicking on them to help you make money without you knowing it. They may be doing more harm to you than help by trying it in the first place.
If ever someone you know chanced upon your Adsense, make sure they understand that they cannot click on your ads under any circumstances. It would be wise to brief them on important things about Adsense and what not to do with them.
Most pay per click networks have different measures in hand to protect website owners against click frauds. Other search engines can track more than 50 data points, IP address, browser’s information, user’s session info and pattern recognition. They also have “systems” available that detects fraud. Not to mention the specialized teams monitoring how things are going and helping advertisers stop click frauds.
Google offers suggestion on how to avoid click fraud. They know they are trying to hold this for the long term.
It means in order to keep this following of users,                it has to concentrate on creating the most powerful and efficient                organization of whatever the user searches for. High paying ads                that aren't relevant (read relevant to their standards as defined                by the user)  are merely seen as promiscuous.
Promiscuous meaning something that will shell out                money to BUY people's attention and not legitimately gain it.
That was the way of the past where advertisers                controlled what you'd see and TRIED to get you to do something.                That industrial age has past ... and it's dying a slow, painful                death.
Don't fall into their trap.
What practical tips do I have for you?
1. If you use landing pages, make them as relevant                and targeted as possible to the keyword. This makes Google like                your page because people like it.
2. If you are promoting some other company's                affiliate program, check their PR, check their site design and see                that it's of a good quality web experience with an emphasis on                UNIQUENESS. This will plow you past the competition that's still                merely focusing on "which site converts better?". They will died a                confusing "affiliate death".
For example, I used to be the 2nd best affiliate                in the planet for a very prominent hip hop beats production                company. A few other top affiliates even asked me why I wasn't                suffering from Google's strange quality score demands. I didn't                even know the exact answer, except to give them my practical tips                for overcoming them.
What I didn't realize was this.....
There was a DEEP, underlying science to it.
Google really does love certain sites and has a                damn good reason for it. Just watch this closely and you'll have                "Greats" everywhere.
- Will Halliburton
AdWords Tips To Improve Your Campaign
Are your Google Adwords click through rates where you want them to be?                      Do you think you could improve on them? Are you constantly                      testing your most profitable campaigns?
Below are five techniques I’ve used to improve the click                      through rate, quality of my visitors, or both. Of course,                      you’ll want to test these, and I make no guarantees, but                      here are five ideas that have worked for me.
The first tip I can offer is to get a domain name that                      ends in .us, or whatever country you are selling to. I was                      the number 2 affiliate in the world for a well known company                      by purchasing their domain name and using the .us suffix. My                      ad text then said to click my ad for order in the United                      States. Now, realize that you may have to or want to modify                      this strategy, but the bottom line is that I used the suffix                      in the URL to imply that people who might even consider                      ordering (qualifying the clicks) should click my ad. Of                      course I only ran that ad in the US and Canada. Perhaps I                      should have purchased a .ca address as well. But the .us                      alone was enough to make me some nice money and get a signed                      book and other prizes from the “guru” behind the company.
The second idea I borrowed from the “Got Milk?” campaign.                      I was promoting a natural health supplement that has been                      known to help people with all sorts of conditions. The                      headline of my ad was “Got Headaches?” or whatever keyword                      ailment I was focusing on. The ad worked beautifully and I                      quickly got this company’s attention from all the sales I                      generated in the first few days. Perhaps you can identify                      your prospects’ pain and ask them if they have pain in your                      headline.
The third idea has been popularized in several Adwords                      courses, but if you haven’t tested it, you certainly should.                      That idea is to put the keyword as the subdomain of your                      URL. If you are selling John Grisham books and your url is                      books.us, then send your visitors to: JohnGrisham.books.us.                      Try capitalizing the first letter of each important keyword                      and leaving everything else in lowercase.
My fourth idea was conceived of and proven successful by                      a partner of mine. He and I sold over $100,000 in products                      for a well known catalog company. The secret phrase that got                      all the clicks was “Complete Online Catalog”. What happened                      is that this company would send a catalog to its customers                      and they would then go online to order. They would type in                      the name of the company, or whatever appropriate keywords we                      identified, and of course the company’s ad would come up,                      but so would ours, and ours promised an online catalog that                      they could use to enter their order. Sneaky, but very                      effective.
The fifth and final idea is to use negative qualifiers in                      your ads. Maybe you are getting a lot of clicks, but very                      few are buying. Consider putting something in the ad that                      will keep out the lookers and encourage only the serious                      buyers. I was the number 2 affiliate in the world for                      another well known company and the way I made sure my ads                      were profitable is that I put the price of the product in                      the ad. I probably didn’t sell as many products as I could,                      but my negative qualifier kept me from paying for too many                      unprofitable clicks.
The above techniques are ones I personally use to make                      money with Google Adwords. I hope they have been helpful to                      you.
         If you are split testing multiple ad groups, then check out                  http://www.WinnerAlert.com for a solution that will monitor all of          your split tests, perform statistical analysis on them, and send you an          email when it’s time to throw out a losing ad and beat the winning          version.
           Article Source:                      http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Robert_E._Goyette
How To Double Or Triple Your Lead Generation
If you've been advertising your business opportunity or product online                      for any length of time you probably already already know                      that Google Adwords can be a great way to bring traffic to                      your lead generation campaign.
You'll probably agree that getting the traffic to your                      landing or lead capture page is the easy part... Actually                      getting that traffic to convert into real-time hot leads for                      your opportunity or product is the hard part. This                      frustrates many Adwords advertisers to the point where they                      have to drop the campaign entirely because it simply wasn't                      profitable... or was it because they were going about it the                      wrong way? Don't let this happen to you!
One of the main reasons for Adwords failure in a lead                      generation campaign is total lack of keyword organization                      and proper targeting of the landing pages. That's right... I                      said PAGES.
Most beginner Adwords advertisers will go out and bid on                      50,60 maybe even 100 keywords they will write ONE Google ad                      and then direct all of their adwords traffic to their one                      little landing page.
So you've got several different keywords and phrases, one                      Google ad and one landing or lead capture page. It's the                      sure-fire recipe to an adwords disaster.
Problem #1. You have too many keywords!
You cannot possibly write ONE ad that will effectively                      target ALL the available keywords you are bidding on. You                      need to group the keywords tighly and write your ad                      according to the keyword you are bidding on. If you don't                      organize your campaign this way the result will be an                      extremely low CTR (Click Through Rate).
Generating HIGH CTR is absolute necessity for a                      successful lead generation campaign if you want to increase                      your keyword positioning for LESS money. The average adwords                      user will never see a consistent CTR over 1 - 4% because                      they have poor campaign organization.
Problem #2. You have too many keywords, Not Enough                      Landing Pages!
You see... Once you get your keywords organized and                      compiled into their own individual ad groups you are now                      going to need several more and different landing pages.
Why you ask...? It's simple... Since we have now created                      new adwords ads to target our very specific keyword groups                      we are going to need landing pages to match them.
If you can target your landing pages to the keywords that                      you are using in your ad campaign you will be presenting the                      visitor with much more relevant information. If your Google                      ad and landing match their keyword query exactly then your                      chance of conversion is going to much higher. The searcher                      feels you have what they are looking for.
And yes... In some cases this simple little lead                      generation conversion trick will easily double, or triple                      your previous conversion rates! Many adwords users will tell                      you that this technique is as simple as using the keyword on                      your landing page a few times... That would ring true if you                      want to maybe increase your conversion by just a little                      bit...
Go big or go home! If you truly want to double or triple                      the conversion rate of the lead generation campaign you need                      construct a targeted landing page for every keyword phrase                      or closely related terms. I mean a new header graphic                      mentioning the keyword, your headline mentions the keyword                      and your ad copy and bullet points also include that                      keyword. You basically have created a lead capture page all                      around the specific keyword you were advertising under.
It's called "Exact Matching" when you go to a search                      engine you aren't looking for something "close" to what you                      searched for. You're looking for EXACTLY what you searched                      for. Does this make any sense?
This really is a simple way that you can double, or even                      triple your current adwords lead generation campaign                      conversion rates. Now what are you going to do with this                      information?
                       Carl Sorensen is the owner of                                              http://www.ezleadcapture.com and offers a complete                                              Lead Capture Solution for network marketers. Google provides an excellent interface                      to work with. A pleasant modular design groups all of your                      work into nice "containers" that can be manipulated and                      viewed in a variety of ways.
The system reporting is by no means real time but the                      delay on their results display is palatable when comparing                      them to the other major PPC provider, Yahoo-Overture.
A nice feature that sets Adwords apart from other PPC                      providers is that your ads display almost instantly                      after you place them in their system. They have built a lot                      of their editorial guidelines into the ad entry system.
Their system will flag your ad before you can enter it if                      it doesn't meet their terms of service . That is a lot                      better than waiting 2-5 business days to find out if your ad                      had a problem or not. Time is money.
Also provided with your Adwords account are a number of                     free tools to help you with your campaign management.
While several of these tools are great starting points I                      have found the need to augment what Google provides through                      my own online research, tools and software as well as e-book                      purchases.
The lesson learned, everybody that uses Google Adwords                      has access to the same tools that you do, including your                      competitors. It goes without saying that if you want to                      get an advantage here you will need other resources to                      supplement your knowledge other than what Google provides.
Having said that the Google Adwords system is still                      extremely powerful . Providing you with keyword suggestions,                      automated bid management, campaign optimization (by Google                      staff), geo-targeting, roi tracking, and all the reporting                      you can handle, their system allows you a b level of control                      over your spending and the ability to truly identify who                      your customer really is.
What I really like about the Adwords system is the fact                      that the guys with the most advertising dollars are not                      guaranteed to win any particular market.
Google tracks the Click Through Ratio (the                      percentage of people who see your ad and click on it) for                      each of your ads and keywords. Their system gives you a                      better position in their display listings if more people are                      clicking on your ads.
Why do they do this?
To reward people who take the time to write relevant ad                      copy and marry that to a tightly relevant keyword list.
You see, Google will reward you for doing your homework .                      The time you invest studying and learning their system will                      save you money , which can be just as rewarding as making                      money.
Hey, if I could afford 5 dollars a click I would pay it,                      but I can't. I need to lower my advertising costs while at                      the same time generating as much targeted traffic to my site                      as possible.
Unfortunately, my experience with their support system                      does not paint as rosy a picture of the mighty Google .                     In general, their online information is pretty good. It                      will solve your routine questions such as "when exactly does                      my credit card get billed? ) " quite well.
Google's support system seems geared towards keeping you                      off the phone with them. They like to refer to their                      repository of online documentation and use template driven                      email communication.
In instances where I needed specific information (i.e.                      why is this keyword disabled even though I created a brand                      new campaign to put it in?) I received "canned" emails with                      my support persons name "pasted" into the email.
Often times I was required to send them another email                      asking if they had even read my first one and to get the                      answer I was REALLY looking for.
At the end of the day I was left feeling that eventually                      my problem was going to be solved I just wasn't sure when                      that was going to be and how many times I would have to                      contact them in order to get the answer I really wanted.
Typical Costs associated with Running an Adwords                      Campaign
There's two ways to approach this:
Are you going to manage your own campaigns?
or
Do you want to leverage someone else's experience and                      invest money in a company that can manage your Adwords                      campaigns?
Let me suggest that you manage your own accounts                      at least in the beginning . Start small and start collecting                      reference materials while you learn how the system works.
Search for other products and resources that can help you                      but keep in mind some of them won't work out . Don't let                      that stop your research, there is material out there that                      can truly help you and save you a lot of money.
Investing in a $40 e-book is a lot cheaper than                      blowing $500 or more with Google while you are learning the                      ropes .
Having said that if you want to get a successful campaign                      started now you can enlist an SEO company to manage your                      Adwords campaigns.
The question is: How will you know who to trust?
You can burn several thousand dollars for overpriced,                      untargeted traffic if you let the wrong companies manage                      your campaigns. How can anyone honestly know what to look                      for in an Adwords Management company if you haven't even                      tried the system out for yourself? Food for thought. If you                      manage your own campaigns at first you will get a feel for                      the system.
Campaign Costs
Ok, let's talk about the typical costs you can expect                      running a Google Adwords campaign. The good news is                      Google Adwords gives you the potential to reach millions                      of surfers in a matter of minutes for pretty much as little                      money as you want to spend.
The bad news is after the novelty of having an Adwords                      account and setting up your first few campaigns wears off it                      can begin to feel like a ball and chain. There are a lot of                      monotonous tasks that have to be managed daily and it can be                      a tough thing to manage unless you are a disciplined person.
Before you spend money on campaigns and resources acquire                      this mental discipline. Realize before you begin that it                      isn't going to be fun after a while. Google Adwords is a                      business tool, one of many, and as such it has it's                      advantages and flaws . It can make you a lot of money or it                      can cost you a lot of money and create a lot of stress for                      you depending on your ability to consistently manage your                      campaigns.
Ok, your minimum initial deposit is $5 to get started as                      we learned above. Start here, and I suggest resisting the                      urge to JUMP in and start spending like crazy... stay at or                      near this $5-$50 level of investment until you use it up .
You're not going to see any returns on this investment                      financially but you will gain valuable knowledge of how best                      to use the Google Adwords System to generate income without                      learning the hard way.
You have a lot of learning to do before you want to start                      pouring money into your account. Google is in the business                      of making money and their system makes it "REALLY" easy to                      spend as much as you want.
Minimum bids start at a reasonable $0.05 USD. After                      developing your keyword list and dumping it into Google's                      system you have to start making financial decisions.
If you take Google's suggested bid prices for your                      keyword list you can pay a lot of money for your web traffic                     depending on how large your keyword list is and how much                      traffic these keywords generate.
Rest assured Google's system will provide you a lot of                      traffic quickly if you want to pay for it. It's not uncommon                      for Google's big management system to suggest max bids in                      the $20 - $30 range.
You don't have to accept these outrageous suggestions of                      course so your first big money saver is to lower the max bid                      to something you find acceptable and enter it for all of                      your keywords.
Please note Google's system will not charge you this full                      amount unless someone else is willing to pay that much for                      the keyword. Leave this number set higher if you want to                      produce a lot of clicks quickly.
Bidding into position's 1-3 will deliver the most                      traffic, but will be less targeted than position's 4-6.
Position 1 will get the most clicks but many of these                      clicks will be untargeted "impulse" clicks. Taking the time                      to scan all the way to position 6 in the listing and click                      on the advertisement at that position suggests that the                      searcher is extremely interested in the subject being                      advertised.
Over time you will learn which keywords are making you                      money and which one's are simply too competitive for your                      budget. Google's campaign tracking abilities in                      conjunction with other 3rd party ad tracking software can                      help you identify these profitable keywords and track your                      website visitors.
Unfortunately every system can only provide so much                      traffic and you will find the larger companies can afford to                      bid pretty high for more general, high traffic keywords                      because they can afford it.
Large companies will pay $5 for general keywords like                      "credit cards" because they know over the lifetime of using                      a credit card they will recover their investment.
The big boys can squeeze you out of the Google Adwords                      World just as easily as in the "real world". Of course it's                      not all "doom and gloom". You still have a powerful and                      relatively inexpensive tool in your hands if you can exploit                      niches and find the "bargain" keywords.
Google's system of tools leaves you high and dry in this                      respect unless you have a lot of money to blow on "throwing                      out a wide net" by trying a large keyword list and then                      refining your campaigns as you start to get clicks and track                      your conversions.
You can get a lot of garbage clicks by bidding your way                      to the top for general keywords . This is expensive, less                      targeted, and lower converting than if you bid to position                      3-5 or spend time finding the less expensive niche keywords                      (using your third party software or e-book techniques).
Chances are when bidding on more general high traffic                      keywords you will be competing with large companies and                      competitors using SEO company services to manage their                      campaigns.
These companies can afford to pay a lot more than you or                      I for their clicks. In order to counteract this you need to                      tightly target your campaigns and find niche keyphrases to                      be profitable with Google. I can't stress this enough.
To make proper decisions you will need to gather as much                      data as you can on how the Adwords system works. Obviously,                      you won't have this data until you run a campaign or two                      which is why I suggest running your own Adwords Campaigns                      for a while to get familiar with their system.
Study the stats provided by Google which are really                      quite good in conjunction with one or more 3rd party stats                      tracking packages.
You will start to notice trends in the numbers which will                      allow you to make more effective use of your time and money                      by bidding only on the keywords that are generating sales.
Analysis may also prompt you to tweak your site content                      if you notice a niche you want to start competing for                      (better yet start up another site or tier two web page on                      your site targeting that niche and remove these keywords                      from the original campaign moving them into a new campaign                      pointing to your new content).
Minor tweaks can save you BIG money using Adwords
Some Notes on Scalability:
Google allows you to bid on 3 types of keyword matching                      options which immediately gives you three times the keywords                      to bid on without any more brainstorming on your part.
Each matching option provides different results and                      should be managed on a keyword by keyword basis.
Google also provides two methods of displaying your ad on                      their network: Content Match Listings and Search Network                      Listings .
Effectively this allows you the potential to be                      noticed by:
1) anyone searching on Google's portal
2) anyone searching portal sites that get their search                      results from Google
3) anyone viewing a site displaying Google's ads that                      has content related to the keywords you bid on.
4) anyone reading an email with content related to                      your keyword at Google's free email service Gmail.
That's a lot of options and a lot of potential exposure.                      Tweaking to find the right combination for your particular                      situation and spending requirements is something you simply                      have to do on an ongoing basis. I think the benefits are                      obvious to you by now.
A final word on costs. You may have noticed that I didn't                      use a lot of numbers in my discussion of campaign costs with                      Google. What I think I have illustrated is a Google campaign                      truly can cost as little or as much as you want it to.
It can get you as much or as little traffic as you want                      it to. What kind of traffic it brings and how much it costs                      is up to you.
Where will your ads be displayed? More places than you                      might think:
At the time of publication AOL, Netscape, Ask Jeeves,                      AT&T Worldnet, EarthLink and Excite all get some or all of                      their search results from Google.
Content Match Listings vs. Search Network Listings
When user's do a search on one of the Google family of                      portal sites your paid listings appear either along the top                      of the search results highlighted as sponsored listings or                      to the right of the actual search results in text boxes.
Your position on these search pages is determined by your                      keyword list and your bid for that keyword.
Your results with the Search Network Listings can be                      quite successful as long as you manage your account using                      some of the techniques suggested in this article.
Use the included Geo-targeting capabilities built into                      the Adwords system to ensure your ads display only in areas                      that are potential customers for you.
Content match listings appear as inserts on web pages not                      in search engine results pages. My experiences with the                      content Match Listings haven't been as successful as with                      the Search Network Listings although I still use this option                      for some of my campaigns.
Google's system analyses the content of web page and                      serves up ads to those pages based on the what it feels the                      page is about . A web page on motorcycles may feature                      ads about buying motorcycles, motorcycle catalogues, parts                      distributors ... I think you get the idea.
And this idea is a good one since the ads it displays are                      usually pretty close to what you would think they should be.                      When you display ads on your website using Google's Adsense                      program for example, you are effectively joining their                      content network.
A drawback to the content matching system is you can't                      really know who is clicking on your ad. It could even be                      a competitor clicking on your ad from their own site!                      Google gives you the option of disabling either of these                      display methods if they aren't working out for you with the                      click of a button.
You can do this on a campaign by campaign basis only                      enabling/disabling what is working for you. If you want to                      minimize your risk but still utilize the Content Matching                      system you do have an option.
You can set up a separate campaign with lower bid prices                      for your keywords and only enable content matching for this                      campaign. Remove the content matching option from your                      original campaign and voila! you've minimized your risk.
A few more notes on Google Campaign Optimization
I can't stress enough the importance of getting a good                      Click Through Ratio (CTR) for your best target keywords.                      Google has really offered you a chance to save some big time                      money if you know how to get a good CTR for your ads and                      keywords.
Getting a good CTR allows Google to sell more ad space                      which makes them more money. Google transfers some of this                      money to you the advertiser by increasing your ranking                      within their search results it displays for your keywords,                      at no additional cost.
That's right, if you can write relevant ads for your                      target keywords you don't necessarily have to pay the higher                      bid prices for those keywords that your competitors are                      paying. More money saved!
Advantages of the Google Adwords System
- Highly configurable system with an intuitive web-based                      interface.
- Reporting system is near real-time so you can tweak                      campaigns on the fly
- Since their system is web based you can access your                      account at any time.
- Good list of Free tools and guides (although third                      party tools may still be required)
- Rewards advertisers that pay attention to providing                      relevant content to their search clients not necessarily the                      highest bidder. First you need to find a high paying                    keyword. It is better if the keyword you will find is worth                    more than $20 so you're EPC(Earnings per click) would average                    anywhere from 1$ to 10$. This is just a guess because Google                    doesn't disclose its revenue share with website owners but                    many claim its 50%.
Now that you found your keyword, create                    a page for it. Make sure that you research about that keyword                    so you could create a page with good content. Put your google                    adsense code in it.
Now that you have a webpage with ads worth 1-10 dollars per                    click all you need are people to click on it. This is where                    Adwords comes in the picture.
Apply for an Adwords account. Create your ads for your new                    webpage. Here's the most important part, pick as many keywords                    that are relevant to your new site as possible (maximum of                    10,000 keywords) then just bid for the lowest possible                    ($0.05). You could also used mispelled words. For example if                    your site is about satellite tv, use keywords like "satelite                    tv"or "sattelite tv". You could also use other languages for                    that word. Research on the internet on how to write your                    keywords in different languages.
Now I think things are getting clearer to you, if not well                    lets look at the ratio of the above-mentioned procedure: you                    would pay $ .05 for every visitor so, 100 visitors equals 1                    dollar. If one out of those twenty visitors clicked on one                    adsense ads on your website then you will earn anywhere from 1                    to 10 dollars. That means you would only need a CTR                    (Click-through Rate) of 1% to .1% to get even. Suppose you                    generate 1,000 visitors a day from adwords and you have a                    click through rate of 3% with an average of 5$ EPC. You would                    spend $0.05 X 1000 = $50 on adwords and earn 3% X 1000 X $5 =                    $150 from adsense. You would earn $100 a day in these scenario                    or $3000 a month.
The example above is still very modest. There are many                    variables in the scenario you could improve to increase your                    earnings more:
EPC (Earnings per click) could be improved if you would                    filter low paying ads in your adsense account.
You could increase visitors you generate from adwords by                    increasing the number of keywords you would bid. There are a                    maximum of 10,000, I suggest you use all.
CTR (Click-Through Rate) could also be improved by placing                    your ads in the best position in your webpage. Also filter                    unrelevant ads in your adsense account to increase CTR.
                         Author: Richard Palanca
Website:                                                  http://www.webomania.org
Website Description: Webomania.org is a free website                          resouce offering informations and resources on how to                          create and profit from your website. Most especially now that the company is public property. In order to keep the shareholders and users of its engines happy, the quality of the returned results are given extreme importance.
For this same reason, doing the wrong things in the Adsense and other forms of advertisements, whether intentionally or unintentionally, will result in a severe penalty, may get you banned and even have your account terminated. Nothing like a good action taken to keep wrongdoers from doing the same things over again.
So for those who are thinking of getting a career in Adsense, do not just think of the strategies you will be using to generate more earnings. Consider some things first before you actually get involved.
Hidden texts. Filling your advertisement page with texts to small to read, has the same color as the background and using css for the sole purpose of loading them with rich keywords content and copy will earn you a penalty award that is given to those who are hiding links.
Page cloaking. There is a common practice of using browser or bot sniffers to serve the bots of a different page other than the page your visitors will see. Loading a page with a bot that a human user will never see is a definite no-no. This is tricking them to click on something that you want but they may not want to go to.
Multiple submissions. Submitting multiple copies of your domain and pages is another thing to stay away from. For example, trying to submit a URL of an Adsense as two separate URL’s is the same as inviting trouble and even termination. Likewise, this is a reason to avoid auto submitters for those who are receiving submissions. Better check first if your domain is submitted already an a certain search engine before you try to submit to it again. If you see it there, then move on. No point contemplating whether to try and submit there again.
Link farms. Be wary of who and what are you linking your Adsense to. The search engines know that you cannot control your links in. But you can certainly control what you link to. Link farming has always been a rotten apple in the eyes of search engines, especially Google. That is reason enough to try and avoid them. Having a link higher than 100 on a single page will classify you as a link farm so try and not to make them higher than that.
Page rank for sale. If you have been online for quite some time, you will notice that there are some sites selling their PR links or trading them with other sites. If you are doing this, expect a ban anytime in the future. It is okay to sell ads or gain the link. But doing it on direct advertisement of your page rank is a way to get on search engines bad side.
Doorways. This is similar to cloaking pages. The common practice of a page loaded with choice keyword ads aimed at redirecting visitors to another “user-friendly” page is a big issue among search engines. There are many seo firms offering this kind of services. Now that you know what they actually are, try to avoid them at all costs.
Multiple domains having the same content. In case you are not aware of it, search engines look at domains IP’s, registry dates and many others. Having multiple domains having the same exact content is not something you can hide from them. The same goes with content multiplied many times on separate pages, sub domains and forwarding multiple domains to the same content.
Many of the above techniques apply to most search engines and is not entirely for Google only. By having a mind set that you are building your Adsense together with your pages for the human users and not for bots, you can be assured of the great things for your ads and sites.
Not to mention avoiding the wrath of the search engines and getting your Adsense and site account terminated altogether.
5 Ways To Improve Your Adsense Earnings
5 Ways To Improve Your Adsense Earnings
If webmasters want to monetize their websites, the great way to do it is through Adsense. There are lots of webmasters struggling hard to earn some good money a day through their sites. But then some of the “geniuses” of them are enjoying hundreds of dollars a day from Adsense ads on their websites. What makes these webmasters different from the other kind is that they are different and they think out of the box.
The ones who have been there and done it have quite some useful tips to help those who would want to venture into this field. Some of these tips have boosted quite a lot of earnings in the past and is continuously doing so.
Here are some 5 proven ways on how best to improve your Adsense earnings.
1. Concentrating on one format of Adsense ad. The one format that worked well for the majority is the Large Rectangle (336X280). This same format have the tendency to result in higher CTR, or the click-through rates. Why choose this format out of the many you can use? Basically because the ads will look like normal web links, and people, being used to clicking on them, click these types of links. They may or may not know they are clicking on your Adsense but as long as there are clicks, then it will all be for your advantage.
2. Create a custom palette for your ads. Choose a color that will go well with the background of your site. If your site has a white background, try to use white as the color of your ad border and background. The idea to patterning the colors is to make the Adsense look like it is part of the web pages. Again, This will result to more clicks from people visiting your site.
3. Remove the Adsense from the bottom pages of your site and put them at the top. Do not try to hide your Adsense. Put them in the place where people can see them quickly. You will be amazed how the difference between Adsense locations can make when you see your earnings.
4. Maintain links to relevant websites. If you think some sites are better off than the others, put your ads there and try to maintaining and managing them. If there is already lots of Adsense put into that certain site, put yours on top of all of them. That way visitor will see your ads first upon browsing into that site.
5. Try to automate the insertion of your Adsense code into the webpages using SSI (or server side included). Ask your web administrator if your server supports SSI or not. How do you do it? Just save your Adsense code in a text file, save it as “adsense text”, and upload it to the root directory of the web server. Then using SSI, call the code on other pages. This tip is a time saver especially for those who are using automatic page generators to generate pages on their website.
These are some of the tips that have worked well for some who want to generate hundreds and even thousands on their websites.  It is important to know though that ads are displayed because it fits the interest of the people viewing them. So focusing on a specific topic should be your primary purpose because the displays will be especially targeted on a topic that persons will be viewing already.
Note also that there are many other Adsense sharing the same topic as you. It is best to think of making a good ad that will be somewhat different and unique than the ones already done. Every clickthrough that visitors make is a point for you so make every click count by making your Adsense something that people will definitely click on.
Tips given by those who have boosted their earnings are just guidelines they want to share with others. If they have somehow worked wonders to some, maybe it can work wonders for you too. Try them out into your ads and see the result it will bring.
If others have done it, there is nothing wrong trying it out for yourself.
3 Reasons Why Adsense Is Essential For Content Sites
3 Reasons Why Adsense Is Essential For Content Sites
To know why Adsense is essential for your content sites is to know first how this works.
The concept is really simple, if you think about it. The publisher or the webmaster inserts a java script into a certain website. Each time the page is accessed, the java script will pull advertisements from the Adsense program. The ads that are targeted should therefore be related to the content that is contained on the web page serving the ad. If a visitor clicks on an advertisement, the webmaster serving the ad earns a portion of the money that the advertiser is paying the search engine for the click.
The search engine is the one handling all the tracking and payments, providing an easy way for webmasters to display content-sensitive and targeted ads without having the hassle to solicit advertisers, collect funds, monitor the clicks and statistics which could be a time-consuming task in itself. It seems that there is never a shortage of advertisers in the program from which the search engine pulls the Adsense ads. Also webmasters are less concerned by the lack of information search engines are providing and are more focused in making cash from these search engines.
The first reason why Adsense is essential for content sites is because it already has come a long way in understanding the needs of publishers and webmasters. Together with its continuous progression is the appearance of more advanced system that allows full ad customization. Webmasters are given the chance to choose from many different types of text ad formats to better complement their website and fit their webpage layout.
The different formatting enables the site owners the possibility of more click through from visitors who may or may not be aware of what they are clicking on. It can also appeal to the people visiting thus make them take that next step of looking up what it is all about. This way the people behind the Adsense will get their content read and making profit in the process.
The second reason is the ability of the Adsense publishers to track not only how their sites are progressing but also the earnings based on the webmaster-defined channels. The recent improvements in the search engines gives webmasters the capability to monitor how their ads are performing using customizable reports that has the capacity to detail page impressions, clicks and click-through rates. Webmasters and publishers can now track specific ad formats, colors and pages within a website. Trends are also easily spotted.
With the real-time reporting at hand, the effectiveness of the changes made will be assessed quickly. There would be time to sort out the contents that people are making the most clicks on. The ever-changing demands would be met while generating cash for the webmasters and publishers. The more flexible tools are also allowing webmasters to group web pages by URL, domain, ad type or category, which will provide them some accurate insight on which pages, ads and domains are performing best.
The last and final reason is that the advertisers have realized the benefits associated having their ads served on targeted websites. Thus increasing the possibility that a prospective web surfer will have an interest in their product and services. All because of the content and its constant maintenance. As opposed to those who are no using Adsense in their sites, they are given the option of having other people do their content for them, giving them the benefit of having successful and money-generating web sites.
Adsense is all about targeted content, the more targeted your content is, the more target the search engines’ ads will be. There are some web masters and publishers who are focused more on their site contents and how best to maintain them rather than the cash that the ads will generate for them. This is the part where the effectiveness is working its best.
There was a time when people were not yet aware of the money to be achieved from advertisements. The cash generated only came into existence when the webmasters and publishers realized how they can make Adsense be that generator. In those days, the content were the most important factors that is taken quite seriously. It still is. With the allure of money, of course.
